People Can Share Disability Benefit Advice

A group of disabled people from the Strategic Disability Partnership and the Learning Disability Partnership worked together to come up with some ‘Top Tips for PIP.’   PIP (or Personal Independence Payment) is replacing Disability Living Allowance and many disabled people are worried about how the change will affect them and how they apply for the new benefit. The group decided they wanted to share their experience and give people ideas to make it easier for them. The group have distributed the leaflets to advice agencies and organisations working with disabled people.  The leaflet is available in audio and as a BSL video and in electronic format.
