The Strategic Disability Partnership with support from Bradford Talking Media (BTM) have helped Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust to train 12 disabled people as Patient Led Assessors of the Care Environment (known as PLACE).

They have taken part in 25 different assessments at Bradford Hospital sites and helped identify where improvements are needed around cleanliness, condition and maintenance, disabled access, privacy and dignity, dementia friendly environments and patient food.
